The Exact vacancies for the upcoming TNPSC Group 4 is not revealed yet officially... It will be around 3000 as per the TNPSC Chairman message dated 26th August 2014. We can confirm the exact vacancy only after the official TNPSC Group 4 2014 Notification. we can expect the vacancies between 2800 - 3300. let us wait for some more days...

ReplyDeleteI have permanent ID, I applied wrongly for no fee claim in this gr4 today (BC, i already applied 4 times in free claim out of which 3 times i skipped the exam and one time i wrote the exam)... Can i apply again fresh paying exam fee for this group 4??
it is safe to apply fresh and pay the exam fee... because we dont have clear information about how the number of times will be calculated whether it also includes the number of times which we skip exam are included or not....

DeleteHello siva,, In TNPSC website there is one pdf 'Instructions to candidates' it states like this
Delete"Failure to appear for the competitive examination (including oral test) after sending an application will not operate to exclude that chance from the free chances allowed."
It means once you apply for any post (Whether you appear for exam or not) it counts to the number of exemptions claimed. Also for BC the fee exemption is three times, which you have already crossed.

DeleteFor candidates possessing SSLC(10th) certificate need not enter the GO no while applying for TNPSC Group 4 exam. But candidates possessing certificate equivalent to SSLC need to show the proof (equivalence) which is available in the TNPSC Website http://www.tnpsc.gov.in/equivalence.html GO number means Government order number. here... in our case it means just the GO no which is available in the equivalence list

Delete@pandi: In competitive exams we cannot predict the cut off marks, last group 4 cut off is around 146(bc) in the first phase, we guess that the vao cut off will also be in the same level near to 150. you are in the border. If you can score 148 in a exam 6 months ago means you will surely get 155 above in group 4 (dec 21). so that you can make the job confirmation on dec 21st itself. Just forget about the VAO / group 2a result. (Even if you do not get in the first phase, you will surely get in the further phases...) Prepare well for group 4. Just 12 days more for group 4

ReplyDeleteI am Magesh, Could you please explain how overall ranking is arrived (because I can see so many ranks for the same mark) and how the posts are filled (like, first the open quota will be filled based on overall ranking for example if 800 posts are for OC, will it be filled by overall ranking 1-800 and then the respective community vacancies based on communal rankings if 500 for BC means 500 BC apart from who have got in through OC) and how the candidate's preference for department or station is respected?
